Monthly EOC Test / Nets!

Each month local Amateur Radio operators test the equipment located in several Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs). The Test are preformed during the Greene County EOC Test Net which starts at 7:30pm on the first Wednesday of each month. The nets primary frequency is 147.165 and then moves down a set checklist of repeaters (See below). The purpose is to verify the operational status of each of the areas repeaters at the same time verifying the EOC equipment to transmit and receive to & from those repeaters.

The Net is a directed net, with a Net Control, and at all times during the exercise the Net control will be monitoring the primary frequency. At any time during the exercise a station is unable to make contact with Net Control on the active frequency, they are to contact Net Control on the primary frequency.

The Monthly EOC Net is open to all Amateur Radio Operators in EOCs are testing their personal equipment. Volunteers are always needed to help man each EOC.

Currently the Beavercreek & Xenia EOCs are activated during this test, if you have another location that you which to add to the list & man during the Net please contact us, ASAP!
